Hair Pulling & Skin Pulling
My name is Eva and I suffer from hair pulling OCD.
When I first started playing with my hair it was fun and it gave me something to do. As my hair got tangled, I started yanking it out.

I didn't realize it until much later but my hair was thinning and I didn't have much left on the bottom or underneath.
Then I started to panic. I was scared others might notice and I couldn't stop myself from constantly playing with my hair.

I started seeing a therapist and I tried reading books on the subject, journaling, meditation, stretching, relaxation.
But every day I was pulling out handfuls of hair.
I was so scared.
​
My mom ordered me some slime because it's fun to play with and I started pulling out the beads and charms at night while hanging out with my family.
Before you knew it, I went a whole day without pulling out any hair at all. Then it was three days, a week, and before you knew it, I went a whole month!
